SELECTED COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The Elderhood Project

An evolving socially engaged project exploring ageing, identity, belonging, wisdom and connection. Developed through extended conversations and creative collaboration with older women, students and communities, the project has grown across exhibitions, workshops, artist talks and intergenerational events.

Surrounded - Black Saturday memorial

A permanent Black Saturday memorial created for Healesville through community consultation and collaboration. The work responds to local experiences of loss, resilience and recovery, translating shared community stories into a lasting public artwork.

PARQUETRY OF HONOUR -

A permanent public artwork created for the WWI centenary using reclaimed parquetry from Healesville Memorial Hall. Developed through engagement with local history and community, the work connects memory, place and collective remembrance.

SAFE - CFA

SAFE was developed in collaboration with the CFA to explore the vital role volunteers play within their communities, while also reflecting on their own safety. The project used a decommissioned firehose to spell out the way the community felt about what the CFA made them feel.
